Will I have to have teeth taken out?

“Not if I can help it!” says Dr Murray. Where possible, he will try to avoid extractions (removing teeth).

In some cases though, particularly where it’s better for the overall health of the gums, or the way the teeth meet, or the shape of the face, he may feel that removing teeth is a better option, and he will discuss this with you.

Usually, the earlier you come to see us, the more options we have for treating you without having to extract teeth.

As part of Phase One of the National Reopening, Swords Orthodontics resumed routine orthodontic treatment in May 2020.
There are a few differences in how we do this specifically to deal with coronavirus, but you'll still get great orthodontic treatment.
Please don't attend without an appointment - just give us a call and we'll organise things.
New patients are welcome, there's never been a better time to sort out that smile
